Film Burn Overlays and Transitions - free stock footage collection
Film burns recreate the moment celluloid overheats in a projector: bright flashes, melting edges and flickering orange light. They are the fastest way to give digital footage a retro, analog feel.
Use a film burn as a transition by placing its brightest frame exactly on the cut, or run a subtle one over a whole sequence with the Screen blend mode. The packs and transition clips are already timed for cuts; the realistic film burn light leaks are softer and work as overlays.
